Roman Downie

Roman graduated from Colorado School of Mines with a B.S. in Computer Science and a minor in Math in 2023. Roman has been working at Denver Public Schools as a Math Fellow, helping students strengthen their math skills.

Roman likes to focus on learning foundational skills that let students build up towards more complex skills later. He tries to connect tutoring work to problem solving, leaving students with applicable skills to their life in general.

Roman is an Eagle Scout and has a long history of working with kids, either in Scouting or in Denver Public Schools. In his free time, Roman likes to play video games, play electric guitar and bass, watch the Nuggets, and work on programming projects.
