Madi Sousa

Madi is currently a third-year Mathematics PhD student at Vanderbilt University, specializing in harmonic analysis, frame theory, and mathematical signal processing. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Denver in 2023 with distinction in analysis and a thesis on phase retrieval in frame theory, and her Master of Arts in Mathematics from Vanderbilt University in 2025. She has been tutoring mathematics for over five years, both privately and with the University of Denver, and has served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for Calculus courses at Vanderbilt University,

Madi can solidly tutor mathematics at the primary, secondary, and collegiate levels. Madi enjoys sharing her passion for mathematics with students and hopes to show them how beautiful math can be. Madi helps students learn that mathematics can be accessible to everyone and that they can accomplish their goals academically.
