Emma Galvez

Emma is a dedicated elementary educator with three years of classroom experience teaching fifth-grade English Language Arts and Science. She is passionate about helping students build confidence, strengthen foundational skills, and develop a love of learning through engaging, individualized instruction.

Emma earned dual bachelor's degrees in Business (Law) and Justice Studies from Barrett, The Honors College at Arizona State University, graduating summa cum laude. She completed her teacher preparation at Southern Methodist University and holds elementary teaching certifications in both Arizona and Texas. She is currently pursuing her J.D. at the University of Colorado Law School.

Through her classroom experience, Emma has supported students with diverse learning needs and believes every child can succeed when instruction is tailored to their unique strengths and goals. She enjoys helping students grow in reading, writing, math, critical thinking, and problem-solving while fostering independence and a positive mindset toward learning.

Outside of teaching, Emma enjoys reading, hiking, cooking, baking, watercolor painting, and playing tennis. She looks forward to partnering with families to help students gain confidence, overcome challenges, and achieve academic success.
